Morocco - Ait Ben Haddou, Telouet and Marrakesh
Aït Benhaddou (Arabic: آيت بن حدّو) is a historic ighrem or ksar (fortified village) along the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakesh in Morocco. It is considered a great example of Moroccan earthen clay architecture and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987.
The small Berber village of Télouet, Morocco. It lies at an elevation of 1,800 metres (5,900 ft). Occupying a strategic position in the High Atlas, the city had the privilege of being on the passage of caravans and near major salt mines.
Marrakesh or Marrakech (Arabic: مراكش) is the fourth largest city in Morocco. It is one of the four Imperial cities of Morocco and the capital of the Marrakesh-Safi region. It is situated west of the foothills of the Atlas Mountains.
